Jess Sanders offers an interesting summary at PJ Media of six decisive battles between Islam and the West. If any of these battles had been Islamic victories, Europe and North America would likely be Islamic.

  1. Las Navas de Tolosa (July 16, 1212).
  1. The siege of Vienna (September 27-October 15, 1529).

  1. The battle of Vienna (September 12, 1683).
  1. The battle of Derne (April 27-May 13, 1805).
